Hi! My name is obviously Jennah, and I have decided to start a blog because writing has always truly been my outlet when life gets hectic.
Just a few fun facts about myself: I am 20. I go to WSU, otherwise known as Washington State University. Some say I have a slight obsession with candles and wine. I'd like to wish that I was a simple girl, but everyone who knows me would differ.
I'm completely in love with my school, and I am so excited because I'm rushing into a sorority in two short weeks! I had never been into the whole Greek system, and to be honest, I thought it was extremely stupid, and a waste of time and money. When I was going through orientation for WSU, I decided that I was gonna go to the informational seminar about the Greek system, because I honestly had nothing better to do. Little did I realize that I was going to be signing up for recruitment week that very night! Not a lot of my friends are in a house (sorority or fraternity) so I had never really had the chance to have someone explain to me what it was really all about, which was sisterhood, friendships, philanthropy, networking, etc. I was so excited at this seminar that I had decided okay, I'm doin' it! I'm rushing! Though, I've heard nothing but terrible things about rush week. I have a somewhat average self esteem for a 20 year old girl, and I'd consider that not too hot. So for me to go through a week where I know I'm getting judged for every little thing that I say makes me want to have an anxiety attack. Not to mention, I get dehydrated very easily, and it'll probably be around 90 degrees while I'm walking around all day outside for an entire week! If I don't have an anxiety attack, I'll probably be put out of my misery by having a heat stroke, so I'm sure it'll all work out. Anyways, I'll make sure I keep you updated on what house I end up in!
xoxo, J
